On December 04, 1987 Officers were dispatched to 6421 Pythian Drive in reference to a missing person. The complainant was Joseph Duenas who stated Miss Crownover had been living with him for about a month and she had some mental problem and he was try to help her out.

Duenas reported that on November 26, 1987 at 2300 they went to bed together and when he woke up the next morning, he discovered her missing. He also stated he checked with her friends and no one else had seen her either.
She left a note saying she would call, but she never did. Crownover left all her clothes and most of her personal items at Duenas’s house. She had also left her vehicle, but took $200.00
