Hamilton County, TN – On Thursday, May 6th, the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office hosted a cookout for our corrections personnel in honor of National Correctional Officers Week.

The cookout, prepared by members of the Silverdale Detention Center Transition Team and HCSO leadership, honored our corrections personnel for their service and dedication to keeping the more than 1000 inmates in our charge safe and secure.

An additional cookout will be held tonight for the shifts that were not on duty last night from 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm.

Please join with us as we celebrate National Correctional Officers Week and recognize the service and efforts of our correctional personnel.
