Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Corrections Officer Arrested
Hamilton County, TN – Earlier this morning, June 27, 2021, at approximately 3:15 am, a Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Corrections Officer was involved in an alleged domestic assault incident at 8629 Summit Peak Way in Collegedale, Tennessee.
Upon arrival, it was reported by Collegedale Police that an off-duty HCSO corrections officer had assaulted his girlfriend after a break-up.
HCSO Corrections Officer Ronnie Grasham was arrested by Collegedale Police personnel and booked into the Silverdale Detention Center where he was charged with one count of Aggravated Domestic Assault. Corrections Officer Grasham has been with the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office for eight months and is currently assigned to the Corrections Division.
Corrections Officer Grasham has been placed on administrative leave with pay pending the conclusion of an internal affairs investigation. As this is an ongoing investigation, no further information will be released at this time.
