Sheriff Jim Hammond is proud to announce the promotion of five Lieutenant’s to the rank of Captain. After a lengthy promotional process the five Lieutenant’s will receive their Captains bars tomorrow, 11:00 a.m. at the Sheriff’s Office, 600 Market Street. Listed below are the names of the newly promoted Captains and their job duties.

* Captain Lynn Triplett, Law Enforcement and Patrol Services

* Captain William Johnson, Investigative Services

* Captain Lenda Clark, Administration and Support Services

* Captain Mike Cribbs, Civil Process, Property Division and Crisis Intervention Team

* Captain Charles Lowery, Traffic Division, School Patrol and School Resource Officers
