HCSO Conducts Promotional Assessment for the Rank of Sheriff’s Captain
Hamilton County, TN – Throughout Monday, July 1st – Tuesday, July 2nd, the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office conducted a Promotional Panel Assessment for the rank of Captain.
The Promotional Panel consisted of the following assessors:
• Juan Alicea, U.S. Secret Service Resident Agent in Charge – Chattanooga
• Arturo Napolitano, U.S. Homeland Security Investigations – Chattanooga
• Major Allen Leverett, Tennessee Highway Patrol – Nashville Headquarters
• Captain Patrick Turner, Tennessee Highway Patrol - Chattanooga District
• Mr. Roger Piersant, President & CEO of Displaycraft, Inc., and Founder & Facilitator of the 10 Project
• HCSO Chief Deputy Spencer Daniels
• HCSO Deputy Chief of Law Enforcement Mark Hooper
• HCSO General Counsel Brian Bush
The Promotional Panel Assessment evaluated (8) lieutenants who were testing for the rank of Sheriff’s Captain. The assessment consisted of several key areas of review including a candidate’s leadership, knowledge, training, goals, and qualifications.
