“As snow moved into our area on Friday, I worked alongside and observed your 911 telecommunicators, along with HCSO deputies, police officers, emergency management, EMS, firefighters, troopers, hospital staff, and highway department personnel serving across this county throughout the winter weather event ensuring the safety of residents and answering their calls for service.

Choosing to work in the field of public safety is a calling and the men and women of Hamilton County who have chosen this profession understand the importance of the job they perform regardless of the conditions. It is often a thankless job, but it is one those who have accepted understand. Despite the cold and inclement weather, we still have a job to do so that this county can remain operational and safe.
