HCSO Hosts Basic At-Scene Traffic Investigation School
Hamilton County, TN - The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office Training & Professional Development Unit is proud to announce the graduation of eight law enforcement personnel who attended an 80-hour Basic At-Scene Traffic Investigation School.
This class was hosted and instructed by the HCSO Traffic Unit specifically for our personnel. During this intense school, students received instruction in multiple investigative disciplines, to include recognizing and interpreting roadway evidence, imaging and photography of a crash scene, and mathematical principles for speed analysis. This class represents the first building block in the process for personnel who wish to move towards more advanced traffic investigative training.
This class is yet another example of how your Sheriff's Office is leading the way in law enforcement services in our county and our region by investing in our deputies by providing them with high-quality training and professional development opportunities to help them meet the public safety needs of our community.
The HCSO personnel who graduated from this school are as follows:
• Deputy Caleb LeBruno
• Deputy Jorge Araiza
• School Resource Deputy Tammy Davis
• Deputy Tony Johnson
• School Resource Deputy Dakota Layne
