Today at approximately 11:11 a.m. 911 received a call for assistance at 1603 Crabtree Road. Both the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office and Dallas Bay Volunteer Fire Department responded to the address. When emergency personnel arrived on the scene the reporting party advised her husband had been working in the back yard burning debris. When she went outside to check on him, she found him lying in the fire. Dallas Bay Volunteer Fire pronounced him deceased and Hamilton County Emergency Service transported the body to the Hamilton County Forensic Center.

No further information will be released pending notification of the next of kin and the report from the Medical Examiner.
