Guinn charged in vehicle burglaries
Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Deputies were called to a reported theft on Meadow Wood Drive in Hixson, April 28, 2010. When they arrived on the scene and initiated the investigation, other complainants in the neighborhood began calling to report thefts.
The Criminal Investigative Division was notified to respond and as the investigation progressed from 9:00 p.m. on April 28th until 3:00 a.m. on the 29th, it was found that eight vehicles had been entered and one home burglary was reported. Detective Mike Cox developed leads regarding the suspect, who was identified as Timothy Guinn age 49, was living in the neighborhood.
Mr. Guinn was located at 1380 Meadow Wood Drive and interviewed by investigators. From this interview, all reported stolen items were recovered and returned to the owners. He was charged with eight counts of Burglary of an Auto, two counts of Theft over $500, four counts of Theft under $500, one count of Aggravated Burglary and one count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Mr. Guinn was transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
