Hixson High School student tased
Earlier this morning, a sixteen year old Hixson High School student who had been suspended, became uncooperative with the principal and walked off while she was trying to speak with him. The School Resource Officer, Deputy Baxter attempted to stop the student and talk with him, but the student continued to be unruly, refusing to obey commands to the point that Deputy Baxter was forced to use the taser.
The student was not harmed but according to policy, Hamilton County Emergency Medical Services was called to the scene where the student was examined and then released with no injuries. He was transported to the Hamilton County Juvenile Detention Center, charged with Disorderly Conduct and Assault.
