An elderly couple, Ernest and Dorothy Carroll, reported missing from their home in Fayetteville, Tennessee on Thursday, June 23, 2011, have been located.

Information received through technology and sightings from the surrounding area helped authorities locate the couple at an area motel at 4833 Hixson Pike. Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Deputies located the couples 2002 Saturn at the motel and verified they were occupying a room. Authorities notified their son, Kenneth Benson, who arrived at the motel and made contact with the couple.

Both parties were fine physically and have returned home to their family.
