Shortly after 8:00 p.m. on Friday July 1, 2011 the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division was called to an address on Wilcox Road located in Lookout Valley, regarding two juvenile females who had been reported missing by the Chattanooga Police Department. During the initial investigation both victims alleged being assaulted sexually by Christopher Johnson w/m 46.

Christopher Johnson, who is currently in the hospital due to a self inflicted knife wound from a suicide attempt, is facing multiple felony charges stemming from this investigation.

The investigation is on-going and being handled by Detective Ed Merritt.
