The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office will be participating in the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Drug Take Back program. This will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. till 2:00 p.m. at both the Sheriff’s West Sector located at 6233 Dayton Blvd. and Sheriff’s East Sector, located at 8395 Hickory Valley Road.

Sheriff Jim Hammond would like to encourage anyone who has unwanted, expired prescriptions or over the counter medication they wish to dispose of to take advantage of this opportunity and bring the medication by either location. Items that will not be accepted are IV bags, needles, and radioactive medications.
