National Police Week will be May 13-19, 2012. During this special week thousands of law enforcement officers and family members will travel to Washington, D.C. to take part in this event that honors those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.

Thursday, May 17, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. has been set aside for the Law Enforcement Memorial program in Hamilton County. This program is dedicated to honor our law enforcement hero’s who have died in the line of duty and for those who continue to serve and protect. Acts of heroism and valor are performed every day by the law enforcement officers who serve in Hamilton County. These men and women have chosen a career on the front line and willingly place themselves in harm’s way. It takes a brave person to run toward danger when everyone else is running away.

The Law Enforcement Memorial helps everyone connect for a common goal, to remember the fallen.
