Corrections Officer charged with Misdemeanor Theft
The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division initiated an investigation in June 2012 involving Corrections Officer Dale Daniel. This investigation stems from statements and comments made by the defendant to co-workers in regards to him having a life threatening illness. The investigation also revealed from this deception, he received money to help with his purported added expenses as well as donated leave time for a total of $2,154.09.
This investigative case was presented to the Hamilton County Grand Jury on July 16, 2012 and nine counts of Misdemeanor Theft were returned today, July 19, 2012. Mr. Daniel turned himself into the Fugitive Division today and was transported to the Hamilton County Jail for processing.
