At approximately 1:30 a.m. the suspect entered the Kangaroo Store located at 8600 Hixson Pike and threatened the clerk by indicating he had a weapon. He then stole a case of cigarettes valued at $1,110.00 and fled the store.

Several hours later a suspect was arrested by the Chattanooga Police Department for committing a similar incident at the Kangaroo Store located on Hwy. 1 53. A photo lineup was taken to the clerk at the store located at 8600 Hixson Pike where the clerk identified Calvin Green as being the same party who committed the robbery earlier this morning.

Calvin Green was charged with Aggravated Robbery and Theft over $1000.00. The criminal investigation is being handled by Detective Jeff Baker of the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office.
