Hamilton County Sheriff’s Fugitive Division arrested Jeffrey R. Elder today at his home located on Hunter Village Drive. He was charged with a Fugitive warrant out of Enfield, Texas. Detective Gil Jemison who was assisted in the arrest with Ken Sisk, stated that Mr. Elder was an employee of Hamilton County Community Corrections where he works third shift. The defendant stated to Detective Jemison that he was a supervisor on his shift but that could not be verified. It was found that his duties include monitoring people who have been given an ankle bracelet instead of being incarcerated.

The Fugitive division is also looking for a Tameka Burney who is wanted out of Enfield, Texas for the same charges. They do not have an address for this party, so anyone with information please call the Fugitive Division at 209-7140.
