Joint Investigation Solves Burglaries
During the Month of August of this year, the Lookout Mountain Tennessee and Lookout Mountain Georgia Police Departments investigated several home burglaries. Since that time a joint investigation involving several law enforcement agencies developed suspect information.
On Wednesday morning, September 11, 2013, officers from Lookout Mountain Tennessee, Lookout Mountain Georgia along with assistance from Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at a residence in the South Broad Street area of Chattanooga.
Upon execution of the warrants, illegal drugs were located inside the residence. Also during the search, officers observed several items including televisions and other suspected stolen property. Items located included some of the property taken from home burglaries throughout the Hamilton County and Lookout Mountain area.
