The traffic crash that occurred yesterday in the 1300 block of Thrasher Pike involved two vehicles. The driver of the 1990 Chevrolet Corvette was traveling east on Thrasher into a curve while the driver of the 1996 Ford truck was traveling west bound. The vehicles hit left front to left front causing the Ford truck to roll over after impact coming to rest on its top. The Chevrolet Corvette went off the roadway after impact striking a fence.

Both drivers were transported to an area hospital by Hamilton County Emergency Medical Services. The driver of the truck was treated for minor injuries while the driver of the Chevrolet Corvette sustained critical injuries from the crash.

The traffic crash investigation is on-going and handled by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Division.
