Hamilton County, TN - Earlier today, Tuesday, September 22, 2015, HCSO Deputies were called to 6881 Snowhill Road for a Heavy Equipment theft.

Deputies were informed a man was trying to steal a piece of heavy machine equipment.

Upon arrival, deputies located the suspect, James M. Cox, across the street trying to steal a Caterpillar backhoe valued at $60,000.

Mr. Cox was taken into custody and the piece of machinery was returned to the owner. At the time of arrest, it was also found that Mr. Cox had an outstanding burglary warrant as well.
