HCSO Apprehends Dangerous - Wanted Fugitive from Ohio
Hamilton County, TN – Earlier this afternoon, the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office conducted a joint internal operation involving the Patrol and SWAT Divisions’ to safety locate and arrest a dangerous fugitive wanted by authorities in Cleveland, Ohio.
This morning’s operation led HCSO personnel to the 9100 block of Pleasant Lane in Ooltewah where they arrested Frank Mozier who was considered armed and dangerous by Ohio Law Enforcement agencies.
Mozier was wanted for an Aggravated Murder that occurred on April 1, 2016 at 3619 East 53rd Street in Cleveland, Ohio. It was believed Mozier fled to Tennessee shortly after the murder.
Mozier will also face charges locally for possession of Methamphetamine and Resisting Arrest.
Any information regarding Mozier’s original charges should be directed to the Homicide Unit of the Cleveland Police Department in Cleveland, Ohio.
