HCSO Recipient of ‘Back the Blue’ Donation from the Beautifully Designed Women’s Bible Study Group

Hamilton County, TN – Earlier today, Sheriff Jim Hammond and numerous patrol and investigative personnel had the privilege of meeting several young ladies from the Beautifully Designed Women’s Bible Study Group.

The ladies came to the HCSO West Patrol Annex bearing over (60) goodie bags, and (10) cases of water and Gatorade as a way to support their local law enforcement personnel. The goodies bags were filled with donations from the Study Group and the community. This generous donation was made in partnership with events all over the United States as part of the National Back the Blue Movement. Today’s items were personally delivered by Laura Turner, Deanna Boss, and Claire Hufstetter.

“I am very grateful for the generosity shown by these young ladies and their support of local law enforcement,” stated Sheriff Jim Hammond. “Our deputies work very hard to protect our community and it always means a lot when our residents personally reach out and show them how much they appreciate their service and sacrifice.”

Today’s goodie bags included donations from Chick-fil-A, Stuart Heights Sunday School classes, the Pepsi Bottling Company, Farm Bureau Insurance, and local residents and businesses in the Soddy Daisy and Chattanooga area. Items included hand sanitizer, pens, candy, snacks, drinks, letter pads, and cards signed by John Allen Elementary students.
