Hamilton County, TN – Yesterday, Sheriff Jim Hammond, Chief Deputy Allen Branum, and Deputy Chief of Corrections Joe Fowler formally recognized the Officer and Civilian of the Second Quarter for 2017.

This quarter’s Officer of the Quarter recipient is Corrections Deputy Eric Qualls.

This quarter’s Civilian of the Quarter recipient is Chaplain John Waters.

These two employees were nominated by their peers for their outstanding performance and attention to detail while performing their duties within the Hamilton County Jail.

Sheriff Jim Hammond stated, "The actions of these two employees exemplify the role of a public servant, and are in keeping with the highest standards of professionalism of both the Corrections Division and the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office. Thank you for a job well done."
