HCSO Respond to Vehicle Incident at Leggett Road Involving Alleged Impaired Driver

Hamilton County, TN - At approximately 4:20 pm, HCSO deputies responded to the intersection of Leggett Road and Highway 27 for the report of an alleged impaired driver who had struck another motorist’s vehicle multiple times while both vehicles were in motion at different locations.

The victim contacted deputies via cell phone and directed them to their whereabouts.

One suspect was taken into custody and will face multiple charges. Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident. The suspect will be charged with (2) counts of vehicular assault and DUI.

The name of the suspect nor the name of the victim are being released at this time.
