Hamilton County, TN – Earlier today, at approximately 12:00 pm, Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to the 8800 block of North Hickory Valley Road on a multiple vehicle crash.

Preliminary reports indicate a 2002 silver Lexus SUV operated by Ms. Erma Kimbrough left off the roadway on the right side of the road striking a utility pole. Once back on the roadway, the vehicle crossed the center line and struck a black 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer head on driving east.

The driver of the Lexus SUV, Ms. Kimbrough, was transported to a local hospital in critical condition where she was pronounced deceased upon arrival.

The driver of the Trailblazer sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital

in stable condition
