Susan Rebecca Hildreth Arrested on Second Degree Murder
Hamilton County, TN - On Wednesday, March 13, 2018, Susan Rebecca Hildreth (age 37), was taken into custody outside East Ridge City Hall by the Hamilton County Narcotics and Special Operations Division, along with the Hamilton County Fugitive FAST Team, on an indictment for Second Degree Murder. This charge was related to the December 1, 2016 overdose death of Kevin Heltenburg which occurred on Cooley Road, in Harrison, Tennessee.
The investigation into the death of Kevin Heltenburg was investigated by members of the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics and Special Operations Division. The Medical Examiner’s Report indicated that Kevin Heltenburg died from a lethal amount of Fentanyl in his system. Evidence collected during the course of the investigation identified Hildreth as the person who provided Heltenburg with the illegal drugs.
On February 27, 2018, agents with Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics and Special Operations Division presented their findings to the Hamilton County Grand Jury which resulted in a true bill charging Hildreth with Second Degree Murder.
At the time of Hildreth’s arrest, she was also found to be in possession of approximately (2) grams of suspected heroin and drug paraphernalia.
