Ceremony Includes the Retirement of Chief Deputy and former Hamilton County Sheriff Allen Branum &

Deputy Chief of Law Enforcement Charles Lowery, Jr.

Hamilton County, TN – On Thursday, June 7th at 5:30 pm, the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office will host a retirement ceremony for Chief Deputy Allen Branum, Deputy Chief of Law Enforcement, Charles Lowery, Jr., Court Officer Clarence Willhoit, Corporal James Pickett, and Detective Richard Whaley.

Tomorrow night’s retirement ceremony will be the first time a Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy and Deputy Chief of Law Enforcement have retired at the same time.

It is also important to note that Chief Deputy Allen Branum is also a former Hamilton County Sheriff.

Members of the local media are invited to attend and cover this auspicious occasion as we honor their career achievements and service to the citizens of Hamilton County.

The event will be held at the Chester Frost Park Pavilion. Doors open at 5:00 pm and the ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30 pm.
