HCSO Releases New Information Regarding Pedestrian Struck on Dayton Pike
Hamilton County, TN – HCSO Traffic Investigators are releasing new details regarding the pedestrian struck on Dayton Pike on July 4th in the 14,500 block of Dayton Pike.
The investigation into this incident has now produced additional information from witnesses that a second vehicle may have been involved after the initial crash involving Becky Breedlove.
According to witness testimony, after Breedlove was initially hit by a vehicle traveling in the fast lane, a second vehicle following behind the first vehicle in the slow lane may have also struck Breedlove accidentally. Further witness testimony states that the driver of the second vehicle stopped at the scene, spoke to the parties involved in the initial accident, and then left the scene.
The second alleged vehicle involved in this incident is described as a newer model Volkswagen or Kia, four door car, white in color, with black trim or stripe on the rear of the vehicle. According to witnesses, the alleged vehicle was being operated by a white female, possibly in her 20’s, with brown hair.
HCSO Traffic Investigators are asking that if anyone has any information regarding this vehicle, its whereabouts, or the name of the driver, to please come forward so as to help establish the timeline of events, clarify witness testimony, and to aid in the complete investigation of this incident.
