Hamilton County, TN – Earlier tonight, at approximately 5:45 pm, Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office deputies and traffic investigators responded to the 6900 block of Snowhill Road for the report of a vehicle accident involving two automobiles.

According to the preliminary investigation, a Honda CRV traveling Northbound on Snowhill Road went off the right side of the road, across the shoulder, into a ditch, and then proceeded back onto the roadway where it eventually rotated and traveled into the opposite lane of traffic striking a Chrysler Pacifica.

The driver of the Honda CRV was found to be unresponsive and was transported to a local medical facility where they were later pronounced deceased.

The driver of the Chrysler Pacifica sustained what appear to be non-life threatening injuries.

The name of the deceased is being withheld until proper notification of next-of-kin can be completed.

The cause of the accident is currently under investigation by the HCSO Traffic Division.
