Hamilton County, TN – Approximately 30 minutes ago, the Hamilton County Jail experienced a small grease fire in the kitchen operations area. The small grease fire was quickly contained prior to the arrival of fire department personnel.

No injuries or damage were sustained as a result of the incident.

The HCSO would like to reassure the community all operations at the Hamilton County Jail continue as normal and would like to offer our appreciation Chattanooga Fire Department for their quick response.
