Early this morning the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office received information from both Knox and Blount County Sheriff’s Office regarding a murder suspect who could possibly be in the Hamilton County area.

A description of a 2009 Dodge Caliber being operated by Tracy Fox w/m age 37, was given to patrol as a BOLO in reference to a Homicide that occurred in Blount County. Hamilton County Deputies met with law enforcement officials from both counties and started looking in the Lookout Valley area. Approximately 4:30 a.m. this morning the vehicle was found traveling south on Cummings Highway. A traffic stop was initiated and the suspect was taken into custody as well as three other parties. Mr. Fox was turned over to Blount County Sheriff’s Office and transported back to the Blount County Jail. The three parties who were also in the vehicle were interviewed and released.
