Corrections Officer Kristie Floyd was the first HCSO employee to receive the COVID-19 vaccination today at the River Park. Kristie works in the Hamilton County Jail and is one of many in our agency and our community who serve on the front lines. Several of her colleagues also got the vaccine today.

“The HCSO is grateful for the arrival and distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine made available to our local first responders as we continue to focus on mitigating the spread of COVID-19.We are especially thankful for the Hamilton County Health Department personnel whose hard work and dedicated efforts have ensured this important vaccine is distributed in an efficient and coordinated manner,” stated Chief Deputy Austin Garrett.
