HCSO Patrol Deputies Awarded Commendations
Hamilton County, TN – On Tuesday, August 10, 2021, Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Austin Garrett and Deputy Chief of Law Enforcement Mark King presented a commendation and sheriff’s challenge coin to Patrol Deputies’ Aaron Cameron, Jacob Goforth, and Andrew Pierson.
Deputies Aaron Cameron and Jacob Goforth were awarded commendations for their efforts to help save the life of a suicidal woman who was injured on September 11, 2019 near the 2470 block of Dockside Drive. The quick thinking and immediate first aid rendered to the woman by Deputies’ Cameron and Goforth helped to save her life and prevent further injury.
Deputy Andrew Pierson was awarded a commendation for his efforts to respond to an armed robbery on Thursday, December 5, 2019 at the I-Hop on Highway 153 and apprehend the suspects involved after a vehicle pursuit.
“The actions of these deputies exemplify the role of a dedicated public servant and are in keeping with the highest standards of the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office and their deeds and actions should be commended. It is an honor to serve alongside the men and women of the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office,” Chief Deputy Austin Garrett.
