Hamilton County, TN – The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division has identified the victim of the December 17,2021 fatal stabbing on Bill Reed Road to be Kristal Michelle Reno.

As a result of the investigation, investigators have charged Kimberly Smart (age 32) with one count of Criminal Homicide in the stabbing death of Reno.

Smart has been booked into the Silverdale Detention Facility.

As this is still an active investigation, no further information will be released at this time.
