On October 2, 2009 at approximately 5:18 pm, the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office was called to the 13100 block of Highway 111 on a traffic crash. When deputies arrived they found that a 1993 Honda being driven by Robert Myers age 53 was traveling north bound on Highway 111 when he swerved into the median and crossed into the south bound lanes. The vehicle left the roadway and hit a ditch, at which time the driver was ejected.

Hamilton County Emergency Medical Services and Flat Top Fire Department performed life saving efforts but the driver was pronounced D.O.A. at the scene.

The incident is still under investigation.
