HCSO Civil Process and Patrol Personnel Receive Commendations
Hamilton County, TN – On Friday, July 22, 2022, Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Austin Garrett presented three individuals with commendations for going above and beyond the call of duty.
Civil Process Deputy Brian Davidson received a commendation his efforts to locate a suspected cache of stolen medications from the Silverdale Detention Center while serving a Writ of Possession on a residence on Carriage Parc Drive. Deputy Davidson also obtained intelligence a contract medical employee working for the Silverdale Detention Center resided at the residence and he advised Corrections Services Command so that an investigation could be conducted.
Patrol Deputies’ Aaron Cameron and Jacob Goforth received commendations for their heroic efforts to save the life of an elderly man who was trapped in his submerged car at the Possum Creek Boat Ramp on May 21, 2022. Both deputies entered the water and made several attempts to dive down and locate the vehicle with its occupant without regard for their own personal safety.
