HCSO Re-Entry Program Participates in 2022 Chattanooga One-Stop-Shop Re-Entry Fair

Hamilton County, TN – On Thursday, September 28, 2022, the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Re-Entry Program participated in the 2022 Chattanooga One-Stop-Shop Re-Entry Fair sponsored by the Tennessee Department of Corrections, American Job Center – Tennessee, Legal Aid, and the Chattanooga Bar Association.

Held at the Hamilton County Courts Building, the purpose of today’s event was to offer a one-stop-shop opportunity for members of our community to meet with social services based organizations, government agencies, and other programs who help those re-entering society secure housing, education, healthcare, legal aid, employment, and child support assistance.

Events like today are critical to the mission of the HCSO Re-Entry Program and our partners who’s combined goal is to support those in need and reduce recidivism. In total, over 25 organization and agencies participated in today’s fair.

Thank you to Re-Entry Supervisor Wendy Harris, Social Counselor Laurie Gandre, and Re-Entry Program Manager Scott Michiels for their efforts to help ensure today’s event was a success.
