HCSO Responds to Bomb Threat on School Bus

Approximately thirty minutes ago, the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office was notified of an alleged bomb threat to a local HCDE school bus. HCSO personnel immediately located and responded to the bus.

Once on scene, the school bus was evacuated and searched by deputies. Fortunately, there was no threat located. At this time there is no threat to the students or to the community. The source of the bomb threat is under investigation.

As this is an ongoing investigation, no further information is available.
