Hamilton County, TN - Yesterday, Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Lieutenant Brian McDowell was presented a Spotlight Award by the Walden Security Company for his efforts to assist one of their personnel who was involved in a serious, multi-vehicle accident on Gunbarrel Road in Chattanooga on May 26th. Walden Security presents Spot Awards to their personnel when their actions and service go above and beyond the call of duty.

While off-duty, Lieutenant McDowell stopped at the accident to render aid and then followed up with the injured party at the hospital. When not on duty, Lieutenant McDowell, like several other deputies, works part-time providing security at Erlanger East through Walden Security.
