Meth lab fire
The Tri-Community Fire Department was called to 1259 Lester Lane this afternoon at approximately 4:50 p.m. on a house fire. When they arrived on the scene it was determined that the fire was the result of a suspected methamphetamine lab.
Deputies from the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office were called to the scene as well as Detectives from the Narcotics Division. Information was received that several parties ran from the residence before authorities arrived. A female resident, Angela Thompson was arrested at the scene and charged with Promotion and Manufacturing Methamphetamine as well as Child Endangerment. Child Protective Services was notified to respond to take custody of an eight year old child.
The investigation is continuing by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division.
