HCSO K9 Unit Visits Clifton Hills Elementary School
Hamilton County, TN – This morning, Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Deputies’ Andrew Voss and Cole Stevens participated in the Community Helpers Program at Clifton Hills Elementary School. The school’s Community Helpers Program, designed to show students how various people and organizations are making a difference in their community, was attended by over (112) first graders and faculty. They were also joined by Sheriff Austin Garrett and members of our HCSO Public Relations Office.
During the presentation, Deputies’ Voss and Stevens discussed what it’s like to be a K-9 deputy, how they work with their canine partners, and what their duties entail on a daily basis. The kids also got to also meet the star of the presentation, Nero, our HCSO Belgian Malinois.

Presentations like this, offered by our K-9 Unit, are helping to build stronger relationships with our community’s youth and are just one example of how Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office personnel are making a difference and leading the way to a safer, more secure tomorrow for Hamilton County.
