Hamilton County, TN – On Thursday, February 22, 2024, at approximately 3:00 am, there was a large law enforcement presence at Chester Frost Park near the water, and Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to reports of an individual inside of a vehicle that was threatening to kill themselves.
When Deputies approached the vehicle, the individual accelerated the vehicle over a 6-foot concrete sea wall and drove across the beach and into the water. The vehicle became stuck in the silt 15 yards off the beach in approximately 3 feet of water.
