Hamilton County, TN – On Monday afternoon at approximately 4:00 pm, Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office personnel responded to the area Near Edwards Point for the report of a missing bicyclist. Upon further investigation, the bicyclist was found to be deceased and a recovery operation was initiated that included assistance from Waldens Ridge Emergency Services, Hamilton County STARS, and the Signal Mountain Fire Department.

The individual has been identified Lawrence Jeffrey Lipcsey.

This incident remains under investigation.
