Hamilton County, TN – On the morning of June 6, 2024 at approximately 2:00 am, Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office deputies received an anonymous tip regarding a wanted person located near the 2300 block of Mowbray Pike.

Deputies were advised that Logan Delay was staying at this location in a garage behind a residence. Delay has been known to elude law enforcement and has several current warrants out of Hamilton and Sequatchie Counties.

Deputies went to the above residence and located Delay in the garage. Despite resisting arrest, Delay was safely taken into custody.

Deputies located a black backpack with two firearms. Delay is a convicted felon and not supposed to be in possession of a firearm.

In addition to the firearms, Delay has eluded law enforcement on a motorcycle several times.

Delay was transported to the Hamilton County Jail and booked on (6) warrants and the following new charges:

• Felon in Possession of a Firearm (x2)

• Resisting Arrest

• Alteration of a Firearms Permanent Number
