Death of inmate reported at the Hamilton County Jail
The Corrections Division of the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office requested an ambulance through the Hamilton County 911 on April 2, 2010 at approximately 11:29 a.m. Emergency officials were advised that CPR was in progress on 22 year old, Jamal Spralling.
Hamilton County Emergency Services was dispatched at 11:30 a.m. and arrived at 601 Walnut Street at 11:33 a.m. Mr. Spralling was treated by Emergency Medical Services and transported to the Emergency Center at Erlanger Hospital. He was pronounced dead at approximately 12:30 p.m. by Erlanger authorities.
The Medical Examiner and the family of Mr. Spralling were notified. No other information will be released pending the conclusion of the investigation both by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office and the Medical Examiner’s Office.
