The potential candidate for the executive leadership position should be a proven leader with a track record of positive change and possess the ability to shape the future of public safety through quality inmate security and care, with an emphasis on employee wellness.

“Selecting our next Deputy Chief of HCSO Corrections is a very important decision to make as the Sheriff of Hamilton County, as this is a key constitutional duty”, stated Sheriff Garrett. “Bringing quality service, stability and garnering trust between our ranks and the public we serve will always be a top priority”.

The ideal candidate for the Deputy Chief of Corrections should have a proven track record in law enforcement and corrections leadership, with a demonstrated ability to build trust, enhance teamwork, implement innovative measures for quality care and confinement of inmates, and a strategic approach when it comes to spending taxpayer dollars.
