Funeral Service for PFC Jonathan Hall
The death of Chattanooga resident, PFC Jonathan Hall on April 8, 2010 from wounds he suffered when his vehicle was hit by a roadside bomb in eastern Afghanistan has brought devastating sadness to his family as well as his church family at Woodland Park Baptist Church. Sheriff Jim Hammond is a member of Woodland Park Baptist Church.
To join in with the full military honors being given to PFC Jonathan Hall and his family, Sheriff Hammond will have the soldier’s body escorted by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) Traffic Division motorcycles once it arrives inside our city limits to the church and then from the church to the Chattanooga National Cemetery. At the cemetery, the procession will be met by members of the HCSO Mounted Patrol. The funeral at the cemetery will be held on Monday, April 19, 2010 at approximately 2:00 p.m. and will be attended by a host of military and local dignitaries.
