Armed robbery at Papa Johns on Hwy. 58
The Criminal Investigative Division of the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office is asking for assistance from the media in regards to an armed robbery that took place on June 3, 2010 at Papa John’s Pizza located at 5942 Highway 58.
At approximately 10:50 p.m. on June 3, two black males entered the business and approached the female employee. Suspect #1 was described as 5’ 5” weighing 160 lbs. wearing a purple hoodie, a purple bandana and armed with a semi-automatic weapon black in color. Suspect #2 was described as wearing a gray hoodie, navy bandana and armed with a revolver with white grips. Suspect #1 took the clerk to the back of the business and struck her in the head with his weapon while suspect #2 took an undisclosed amount of money from the cash register. Both suspects left the store and fled on foot.
This is the second robbery from this location in the last several months. The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office is requesting anyone with information on this robbery to please contact Detective Jim Usry at 423-622-0022.
