Meet Tucker Fields
The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office is committed to providing professional law enforcement services to the citizens of Hamilton County. Also, we are a family who cares about each other in times of trouble.
Tucker Fields is the nine-year-old son of HCSO Corporal Jamie Fields and his wife Judy and is brother to three-year-old Peyton Fields.
Tucker was diagnosed with Agenesis of the Corpus Callosum along with other birth defects at three months old. Since the age of nine months, he has had monthly life-threatening seizures requiring a lot of hospitalization. Also, he is sensitive to loud noises and to touch. A monitor and camera are kept in his room at home to monitor him during the night.
Tucker is a loving, happy child who touches the life of everyone he meets. He loves to play and can always be seen wearing his house shoes and carrying his blanket wherever he goes.
Tucker’s parents have longed to give him more freedom by using a service dog and now this is a reality. This new “buddy” can help increase his mobility, improve his social skills and help detect seizures and other problems caused by his condition.
The HCSO family and others in the community have rallied together to make this dream of Tucker having his own buddy come true. To learn more about Tucker, please visit his website at www.tuckersbuddy.com.
