Two charged on vehicle theft from Emerald Bay Drive
On July 8, 2010 at approximately 8:00 a.m., the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office was called to the 13000 block of Emerald Bay Drive on a report of a stolen truck. While this report was being completed, numerous calls were received regarding vehicle burglaries on Spitzy Lane that is located just adjacent to Emerald Bay Drive.
Deputy Dean Moses requested a B.O.L.O. sent out via the dispatcher on the stolen truck and continued to follow leads on the theft. Later in the afternoon another request was sent to broadcast the truck description and a call was received by the Soddy Daisy Police Department on a possible location. Soddy Daisy Police responded to Card-Dent Trailer Park located at 11229 Hixson Pike and found the stolen truck which was occupied by three juvenile males. Deputy Moses charged two of the juvenile male suspects with Theft over $1000, Burglary of Auto and Possession of Burglary Tools. The third juvenile suspect was charged with three unrelated outstanding attachments from Hamilton County Juvenile Court.
The investigation is continuing on the reported vehicle burglaries.
